Apply for a CNA Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must not have received financial assistance from The Doll Foundation in the last 12 months.
- Must submit a 250 word or less essay as to why you should be chosen for the CNA Scholarship.
- Must not currently or in the past have completed a CNA program.
- Must enroll in an accredited CNA program within 12 months from award date and must inform The Doll Foundation so payment can be made directly to the CNA program of the recipient’s choice.
Apply for Emergency Relief Fund
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must not have received financial assistance from The Doll Foundation in the last 12 months.
- Residency: The grant recipient must be a resident of the Houston and/or surrounding communities.
- Must be a senior (65+) or caregiver (professional or family.)
- Must have financial hardship due to unexpected circumstances, such as loss of income, natural disaster, or other emergency situations.
- Applicants may be required to provide documentation or proof of the emergency that has caused their financial hardship.
- Impact Statement – Applicants will be required to provide a statement describing how the emergency situation has affected them or the person who needs the assistance and why they need financial assistance.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Professional Caregiver: Individuals working in professional caregiving roles such as elderly caregivers and CNAs, or any other related fields are eligible to apply as mentees.
- Desire to Learn: Mentees should have a strong desire to learn about essential life skills that can help advance their careers and personal development.
- Commitment: Mentees must be committed to actively participating in the mentorship program, including attending scheduled meetings, completing assigned tasks, and engaging with their mentors.
- Openness to Feedback: Mentees should be open to receiving feedback and guidance from their mentors to help them grow both personally and professionally.
- Career Goals: Mentees should have clear career goals (or desire to crea and a willingness to work towards achieving them with the support of their mentors.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit (if applicable): If mentees are interested in exploring entrepreneurial endeavors, they should demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and readiness to learn about starting and running a business.
- Positive Attitude: Mentees should approach the mentorship program with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and respect for their mentors and fellow mentees.
- Dedication: Mentees should be dedicated to their own growth and development, willing to put in the time and effort required to make the most of the mentorship experience.
- Ethical Behavior: Mentees must conduct themselves with honesty, integrity, and respect towards others within the mentorship program.
- Impact Statement – Applicants will be required to provide a statement describing why they should be considered for the program and how such a program can impact their life.
